Answer

Hi Eileen,

We do have ebooks that you can check out and download with your Niles Public Library card.  The best way to access the ebooks on a Kindle Fire is to get them from our ebook providers directly through their app.  We have three providers for our ebooks.  They are (i'm giving you both their general web address and link to app):

1. Overdrive at www.mymediamall.net.

Instructions and link to app: http://help.overdrive.com/customer/portal/articles/1481257-getting-started-with-kindle-fire-devices-

2. 3M Cloud Library at http://www.3m.com/us/library/eBook/index.html.

Instructions and link and app: http://www.3m.com/us/library/eBook/kindle.html

3.  Hoopla at www.hoopladigital.com (you can also download movies, television shows, and music from Hoopla).

Instructions:https://www.hoopladigital.com/support

We do offer one-to-one instruction if you would like assistance in downloading ebooks or feel free to contact us with any other questions.
