Q

I do not know how to return a digital book from an app I downloaded it to and need help.

I used an app called Adobe Digital Editions on the App Store and downloaded a digital book from the Niles Library. The only option I see to do with the book is to delete it. I did try that and went to the Niles website and mymedia to see if there was now an option to return it. But, it still won't let me. I then tried to download it to my overdrive, but it says "This license has already been fulfilled by another user,". So, I downloaded the book to my ADE successfully and tried to search more options thoroughly, but still find nothing. My expiration just nearing and I need help. It's like 2 days left.

The good news is that library eBooks automatically return themseleves at the end of the lending period. If you are using the OverDrive app on a smartphone or tablet you will have the option to return the book in your bookshelf by tapping on the title and holding down untill the option appears.

If you are using the Adobe Digital Editions software on a computer here are instructions on doing this: http://help.overdrive.com/customer/portal/articles/1481131-how-to-return-ebooks-using-adobe-digital-editions.

If you need further help please call the Tech Desk at 847-663-6606 for more assistance.

Thanks,
